| Below are the terms and conditions of giving and receiving driving lessons. Should you wish to discuss them further then do not hesitate to contact us.
- 1. The Instructor will carry motor insurance covering the Pupil whilst driving the tuition vehicle when accompanied by the instructor or by a Driving Standards Agency Examiner. With this comes full public liability cover.
- 2. Training will be given on a one to one basis. There is no car sharing. Parents or Guardians are welcome to sit in the back of the cars on any lessons.
- 3. The Instructor shall have the right to substitute another instructor for the purposes of giving all or any of the lessons if the Instructor is not available for any reason whatsoever.
- 4. In the event that the Instructor is unable to substitute another instructor for a specific appointment, or in the event of a mechanical breakdown or other cause, the Instructor reserves the right to rearrange the lesson to a time convenient to both parties.
- 5. The Pupil agrees that he/she is duly licensed to drive the tuition vehicle.
- 6. Lesson fees will be paid in advance of each lesson beginning. The instructor reserves the right to refuse to give instruction should the pupil turn up without payment.

Block Bookings
- 7. If a pupil pays for a block booking then this is not an assurance that lessons can be carried out at the same time on the same day every week. The instructor will give, where possible, 48 hours notice should the lesson time or day need to be changed for any reason.
- 8. When a block booking is payed for and the course of lessons has begun, then no refund can be given should the pupil decide not to continue with their course.
- 9. Failure by the pupil to give 48 hours notice of cancellation of a lesson may result in that lesson being forfeited

Cancellations
- 10. Where possible the instructor will give 48 hours notice should they need to cancel any lesson. In events such as mechanical failure then the instructor reserves the right to rearrange the lesson to a suitable time and date for both parties.
- 11. The pupil must give at least 48 hours notice to cancel a lesson. Failure to give the required notice may result in that lesson still being charged for. If the pupil refuses to pay for that lesson then any or all driving lessons maybe withdrawn.
- 12. The instructor reserves the right to refuse to give tuition to any pupil who turns up for a lesson and the instructor deems them unfit to drive due to drink or drugs etc. In these cases then the lesson must be paid for.
Refunds
- 13. Refunds can only be given on any part of the course of driving lessons not yet started. Allowences will be made for medical reasons where the pupil is deemed unfit to drive.
- 14. Refunds on cheques will only be made once the pupils' cheque has been cleared by the bank. The refund will be made out in the form of a cheque.
